Position Overview
We are looking for four a hardworking and reliable person (preferably male) milling operations support staff to support daily operations at our milling facility Kigoma industrial park. The successful candidates will work as part of a team to ensure smooth production of maize and flour.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading: Lift, carry, and stack maize bags and flour sacks safely.
- Sorting and cleaning: Help in sorting maize before milling and cleaning the work area after operations.
- Packing: Weigh and pack milled flour into appropriate bags for sale or storage.
- Machine support: Assist mill operators with feeding maize into machines and basic operational support.
- Other duties: Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support milling operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferably male, physically fit, and able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 kg).
- Minimum education: Able to read and count accurately.
- Prior experience in warehouse, factory, or milling operations is an added advantage.
- Honest, hardworking, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Must be a team player and able to follow instructions.
- Residing within Kigoma or surrounding areas.
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Overtime may be required depending on production needs.
