Quality Control (QC)

Ensures products meet quality standards through testing and inspections. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Monitors workplace conditions and ensures compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Inspect Raw Material Inspection and packaging materials to approve or reject materials based on quality standards
  2. Verify supplier certificates (COA – Certificate of Analysis)
  3. Supervise Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Monitor production processes (temperature, time, pH, weight, etc.)
  4. Ensure compliance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
  5. Collect samples of raw, in-process, and finished products and conduct microbiological, chemical and physical tests (moisture, texture, appearance)
  6. Monitor plant cleanliness and sanitation, check employee hygiene practices, verify cleaning schedules and records
  7. Maintain quality inspection records. Prepare daily quality reports and document non-conformance reports (NCR) and ensure proper batch documentation and traceability
  8. Identify defective or contaminated batches and segregate rejected products, conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  9. Assist during internal and external audits, ensure regulatory compliance and prepare quality data for inspection authorities.
  10. Analyze quality trends, suggest process improvements and help reduce waste and customer complaints
