Ensures products meet quality standards through testing and inspections. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Monitors workplace conditions and ensures compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect Raw Material Inspection and packaging materials to approve or reject materials based on quality standards
- Verify supplier certificates (COA – Certificate of Analysis)
- Supervise Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Monitor production processes (temperature, time, pH, weight, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Collect samples of raw, in-process, and finished products and conduct microbiological, chemical and physical tests (moisture, texture, appearance)
- Monitor plant cleanliness and sanitation, check employee hygiene practices, verify cleaning schedules and records
- Maintain quality inspection records. Prepare daily quality reports and document non-conformance reports (NCR) and ensure proper batch documentation and traceability
- Identify defective or contaminated batches and segregate rejected products, conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Assist during internal and external audits, ensure regulatory compliance and prepare quality data for inspection authorities.
- Analyze quality trends, suggest process improvements and help reduce waste and customer complaints
