Location: Kigoma, Tanzania
Job Purpose
To ensure reliable, safe, and efficient electrical operations across the entire firm, including the maize milling factory and related firm infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment across the firm and milling factory.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify electrical risks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain and service electrical machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Monitor energy usage and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and upgrades.
- Support the integration of renewable energy solutions where applicable.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position based at the milling factory in Kigoma.
- Requires flexibility to respond to urgent electrical issues, including occasional weekends or evenings.
